Woburn Reads: Coffee and Conversation about The Art Forger

Coffee and Conversation about The Art Forger

Join Andrea Bunker, Assistant Director of the Woburn Public Library, for coffee an conversation about our Woburn Reads selection, B.A. Shapiro's The Art Forger, on Thursday, March 13, at 7 PM in the Library's Study Hall. All are invited to share their thoughts and comments with others in the community.  Was Claire Ross an artist or a forger? Did she do the right things for the wrong reasons? Was Boston depicted well by the author?

We encourage people who have never joined a book discussion to give it a try in this welcoming environment! Copies are available for circulation or purchase at the Library. The book costs $10 while supplies last.

If this date or time is not convenient for you, another discussion will be hosted by the Book Club at the Veterans’ Memorial Senior Center on Tuesday, March 18, at 1:45 PM.

Upcoming events for Woburn Reads 2014 include an evening with author Barbara Shapiro, an appearance by historical re-enactor Jessa Piaia playing the role of Isabella Stewart Gardner, and a trip to the Gardner Museum.  The tea before Jessa Piaia’s presentation is currently wait-listed. Tickets for the trip to the Gardner Museum went on sale March 1 at the Circulation Desk.
