Grover Pro Percussion was founded in 1979 by current president and CEO Neil Grover. At the outset, he spent months testing his musical prototypes with local MIT students in the sound and vibrations lab. The first successful creation was the so-called Grover Triangle, a 9-inch musical triangle with a distinctive tone that can still be purchased today. Since then, Grover has worked to create a professional-grade lineup of percussion instruments including woodblocks, tambourines, mallets, drums and more.
