Library Park is the home of Woburn Memorial High School softball team, as well as the Woburn Men's Softball League. The large athletic area is located behind the public library and across the street from the Police Department.
In addition to two softball fields, Library Park has a gazebo and access to public restrooms. One of the fields is named for former Mayor Thomas M. Higgins, who served as mayor from 1978 to 1983.
