Under new ownership, with a new menu and new daily schedule since 2008, it's fitting that this elegant Chinese restaurant be named New China Pearl. Once diners enter the front door, the ornately decorated grand hallway immerses them in a realm much farther east than the coast of New England.

Dim sum is served daily, as is a sumptuous menu of authentic Chinese and Mandarin dishes. In addition to providing regular dining, the restaurant easily and often accommodates large functions such as wedding parties, corporate functions, birthdays and a number of other events, and the main dining area doubles as a dance floor. Karaoke is a draw two nights a week in the lounge, which sports a full bar and a jukebox.
