Performance Music Center is a privately owned music studio and retail store that has been located in downtown Woburn for more than 20 years. Previously acknowledged by guitar company Fender along with WBZ-TV in its annual A-list competition for its excellence, the store has been a leading dealer of guitars, bass guitars, drum sets and accessories in the area. Performance Music Center carries brands like Ibanez, Bedell, Fender, Roland and Zildjian, among others. Performance Music Center can also special order custom-designed guitars.

In addition, Performance Music Center has a professional staff of musicians who teach private guitar and drum lessons. Instrument rentals at competitive rates are available. There is also a bulletin board where people can post notices about selling and trading instruments and employment opportunities.
