The Shamrock Elementary School building opened in 2002. It has a large population of pre-school students, houses the city's PDD/Autism program and also offers full-day kindergarten.
Breakfast is offered daily between 8am and 8:15 am. Price is $1, but students who are part of the free/reduced lunch program receive breakfast for free. Students can also purchase snacks for 50 cents in the cafeteria.
Shamrock Elementary School is named for the seven members of the Shamrock Football Club, who died during World War II. Photos of the seven veterans hang in the school's front lobby.
