The Woodbrook Cemetery is a still-active cemetery that dates back to the mid-1800s. There are several monuments in the cemetery, found among marked graves and graves of the unknown. Monuments include dedications to Jonathan Bowers Winn, a leather merchant who founded Woburn National Bank and later donated money to start the Woburn Public Library, and General Abijah Thompson, another leather merchant who served as president of Woburn Bank and the Five Cents Savings Bank and trustee of the library. Today, the Cemetery Commission oversees the maintenance of Woodbrook Cemetery.
