Scott is right. He broke no law and the photos he released were already cleared for not being usedRead More as evidence. I think he deserved punishment but I thought the one week suspension was the right move. To be moved to Athol was a crap move by the State Police or whomever ordered it.

It's too bad that there weren't sequential pictures showing Tsarnaev with a red laser dot on hisRead More head, and then him laying on the ground with his head split open like a dropped melon.

Nothing wrong with showng the photos! Good job Sgt. Too bad they didn't show pictures of American'sRead More with their legs blown off or the people that were killed. They "EXECUTED" an MIT Police Officer! We were all upset and had no sympathy for these 2. Too put his picture on the cover of a magazine is "OUTRAGEOUS"!

The spineless rodent who murdered Tyler Zanco is still at large. I would hope that, even inRead More Massachusetts, this takes preference over flippin' shoplifters. If I DO spot one of these hardened criminals in the photos, however, I will immediately call 911, and go into self-imposed lockdown!

Governor Deval Patrick is more of a murderer than this fool because he enables terrorists to live inRead More this state like the marathon bombers! He provided funding in the form of welfare, schooling, EBT and housing at the expense of the Massachusetts taxpayers!

The police took the weapons because of the domestic, they usually ask if there are any weapons inRead More the house, that way if they leave and there ends up being a killing they can say they checked on weapons. He shouldn't had illegal guns in the house.

John, no especial need I suppose, but I don't feel any especial need not to, either. My right toRead More speak as I like exceeds your right to never be offended, and your god's not the boss of me. That's another nice thing about America.

@Bonnie Parker, You couldn't be more wrong in that statement. There are alot of things a person canRead More say to another person and get in alot of trouble. So just keep that in mind, (My right to speak as I like exceeds your right to never be offended,).............. WRONG IN SO MANY WAYS .

In the state of MA coaches are supposed submit CORI forms as a means of background checking toRead More hopefully prevent this type of situation. I may be mistaken, but I believe the CORI forms only cover state-wide background checks. If that is the case, I recommend that ALL youth sports teachers be fingerprinted as part of a national database, so if someone moved from state to state, they could be properly background checked. Massachusetts passed legislation last year the ALL teachers must now be fingerprinted, and this should be a standard procedure for any adult that takes part in working with children. As for Coughlin, may he experience the same abuse, physically and mentally that he inflicted. That would be justice!

This "coach" had been involved with the Recreation Travel basketball program for severalRead More years, both boys and girls. Not mentioned in many articles. Parents please remember that you are the "wedge" between your child and any adult. After many complaints of verbally abusive behavior toward the children he was supposed to be teaching, we were all told not to talk about coaches in front of our children so as to not drive a wedge between them and the coach. Bad advice. Maybe if there were a little more scrutiny of this person's coaching techniques, the crime that he rightfully plead guilty to would have been averted by removing him from access to his victim.

raymay, nice assumptions you just made. I actually do ride the bus and train 5 days a week to andRead More from work. I do deal with the delays in the winter while waiting outside and ride with all the diverse people. I would be a short walk to the Green Line stop at College Ave, and still don't think it's worth the money. Would be convenient, but as stated above, would rather have the money go to improving the existing system (so we don't have cold and hot weather delays) or to expand in areas much less served than ours. Good day sir.
