Saint Charles Elementary School was founded in 1884 and is sponsored by the Saint Charles Borromeo Parish. ItMore educates students from kindergarten through eighth grade, with an average class size of between 18 and 25 students. Children must be five years old to register for kindergarten, and spots are grated on a space-available basis.

This school has an auditorium, a lunch room, a music room and a gymnasium. Saint Charles's elementary school offers a variety of special programs as well, including food drives, monthly school masses and parent service programs. 

Shamrock Elementary School

The Shamrock Elementary School building opened in 2002. It has a large population of pre-school students, houses theMore city's PDD/Autism program and also offers full-day kindergarten. 

Breakfast is offered daily between 8am and 8:15 am. Price is $1, but students who are part of the free/reduced lunch program receive breakfast for free. Students can also purchase snacks for 50 cents in the cafeteria. 

Shamrock Elementary School is named for the seven members of the Shamrock Football Club, who died during World War II. Photos of the seven veterans hang in the school's front lobby.
