The Woburn Police Department is located on Harrison Street, one block from City Hall. The building is across theMore street from the Library Park playing fields. 

Although Woburn was first settled in 1640 and became a town two years later, it did not have a Police Department until 1851, when one man was paid for police services with public funds. More men were added to the Department in 1852. By 1855, ten men were appointed as part-time officers and paid out of the town budget. By the time Woburn was incorporated in 1889, the Department had existed for almost forty years. 

Currently, the Police Department has several members and divisions, including patrol, detective, traffic, services, school resource and animal control.

These golden arches are found off of Exit 36 on Route 93.  The Montvale Avenue McDonald's has a 24-hourMore drive-thru. The dining area opens at 5am daily with fresh coffee and McGriddles, among other delicious menu items. Breakfast is served until 10:30am weekdays and 11am on weekends. This McDonald's has the full dining menu including Big Mac and other sandwiches, salads and fries. The dinner menu is available until 5am. It also has the new McCafe line of lattes, frappes and smoothies.

Because of the location and heavy congestion, this McDonald's had to install a crazy drive-thru. The solution appears like an optical illusion. Patrons weave in and out of traffic flow in an organized manner.  At the busiest hours watching this choreographed pandemonium is highly entertaining.
