The scene was cleared around 10:15 p.m.
Neighbors in the area of Mishawum Road near the Sea Dog Brewery saw a lot of police lights earlier tonight. Sometime between 9 and 10 p.m. an SUV drove through a fence in front of a home in that area. The accident was close to the highway overpass and is between Jan Street and School Street. Woburn Patch has not been able to connect with the Woburn Police Department as of the posting of this story. We do not know if there were any injuries or what caused the accident. Woburn Fire said they did not respond to the scene and it was handled by police. At 10:15 p.m. the scene was clear except for a tow truck preparing the vehicle for transportation.

The center was temporarily shutdown for emergency crews.
Traffic in Woburn center was brought to a halt temporarily this morning after a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. According to reports a pedestrian was struck at 415 Main St., in front of CVS. There were request for an ambulance for an injured person. A photo recon team was also requested for scene evaluation. There is a crosswalk on Main Street in front of CVS. Though the road was temporarily closed this morning it is now open and traffic is moving normally. Woburn Patch will bring any updates as information becomes available.

There are reports that a Woburn Police cruiser has been involved in an accident at Winn Street and Bedford Road with no reported injures.
There is scanner traffic and tweets reporting that a Woburn Police cruiser was involved in an accident at the corner of Winn Street and Bedford Road around 5:45 p.m. The reports state that no injuries were reported. One tweet indicated that the cruiser was struck by another vehicle. According to reports the cruiser is often used by Chief Robert J. Ferullo Jr., though the reports at this time do not say if he was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. A sergeant has been requested on scene for pictures. Expect delays due to an accident on Route 128 North at Winn Street exit.
There are scanner and Twitter reports of a roll-over accident on Route 128 North at exit 34 in Woburn. According to a Breaking News Network alert, the rollover is in the northbound lane and is causing delays. The accident was also tweeted by Channel 7 News. Exit 34 is the Winn Street ramp. There are scanner reports of a pedestrian accident on Olympia Avenue near Mishawum Road.
According to scanner traffic there has been an accident involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian on Olympia Avenue. According to the reports, the accident occurred in the Mishawum Road area. One patient is being transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington. The extend of the victim's injuries are not yet known. Woburn Patch will update as more information becomes available.

There are reports of a tractor trailer accident on Route 128 and Exit 37.
Travelers on Route 128 can expect delays. According to scanner and Twitter reports, there was an accident involving a tractor trailer and a car on Route 128 at Exit 37 a bit before 1 p.m. this afternoon. Police and Fire responding to accident right before noon.
12:00pm: A car has reportedly hit a pole on Main Street, causing a serious accident. Woburn Police verified a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle on Beach Street.
There are scanner and Twitter alerts indicated a pedestrian has been struck by a motor vehicle on Beach Street. According to reports a pedestrian was struck at 84 Beach Street around 6:30 p.m. this evening. Woburn Rescue has requested Lahey Clinic to be put on a trauma alert, indicating the victim may have serious injuries. A member of the Woburn Police Department verified emergency teams are responding to the incident but would not comment on any specifics at this time. Reports also state the road is currently blocked so expect delays if traveling in the area.
