The city's annual Top 200 list of highest-paid public employees was recently released by the Human Resources department at City Hall. According to the document, which was presented to the City Council, most of the highest-paid employees are police officers, with firefighters second. Public schools, City Hall, Department of Public Works and Retirement round out the list. Gross salary, as listed above, includes an employee's base salary, plus any bonuses, overtime or paid incentives he or she might be entitled to through contracts. City Hall released a statement regarding the discolored water Wednesday morning.
The following text is a statement from City Hall regarding discolored water in Woburn. Due to the increase in water demand, some sections of the city have experienced some unanticipated water discoloration problems. The water department is working to alleviate and minimize the disturbance in the reported areas. The DPW appreciates the residents’ cooperation and patience at this time. If you experience discoloration, please submit a Water Complaint Form by logging on to http://www.cityofwoburn.com/forms.aspx?FID=84 to report the problem or call 781-897-5945. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.

City Council committee met last night to preview several agenda items for tonight's meeting, which will be held in the board's chambers at City Hall at 7:30 p.m. Here's five things that will be on tap tonight: 1) Money transfer for ADA compliance Last night's discussion of the $40,000 transfer between a Hurld School boiler account and an Americans with Disabilities (ADA) compliance account was heated, but expect discussion to go smoother tonight.
