Farmer's Market Goes To The Dogs
Dog Days of Summer event is this Sunday.
As summer nears its end, the city's Farmer's Market is planning a last "Dog Days of Summer" event featuring... shelter dogs, hot dogs (of the eating variety) and a dog park. Although dogs are welcome at the Farmer's Market any time of the year, the Woburn Agricultural Commission is encouraging shoppers to bring their pups and learn about animal shelters this weekend. "We are thrilled to have Northeast Animal Shelter at the Farmer’s Market, as many folks from Woburn and surrounding communities have adopted their pets from this wonderful organization," said Agricultural Commission member Paul Medeiros.
