Two companies have filed bids for casinos with no location. Would you welcome them to Woburn?
The bids are in and 11 companies are now vying for the rights to build a casino in Massachusetts. While most connected their bids to locations—Suffolk Downs and land along the Mystic River are just two of them—Chicago millionaire Neil Bluhm and the Cordish Company filed bids with no location. I would not want a casino in woburn because it would over tax the police and fire depts. The fire dept is understaffed as it is. more ›
