Kennedy School 'Giving Tree' Ready for 2012

This Christmas, students will wrap hundreds of gifts for Woburn children in need. But they'll need the public's help to do it.

  The stores are crowded this time of year with people buying gifts for friends and family. But the students at the Kennedy Middle School are hoping that people will take a moment to buy a gift for a Woburn child in need this Christmas. Guidance Counselor Rita Robertson is working with students on the "Giving Tree," an annual community service project at the middle school. The tree is covered with "gift requests" from five school principals. The gifts are intended for students in need from the Altavesta, Goodyear, Linscott, Malcolm White, Wyman and Kennedy schools.
