Five Police and Fire Incidents That Had Woburn Talking

A look back at the week in police news in Woburn.

From a scholarship in honor of Officer Jack Maguire to a low-speed pursuit through Woburn streets, these five stories and Police Log entries had people talking on our Facebook page and readers clicking links this week. Saturday, March 19—At 8:39 p.m., police responded to a report of two explosions in the street on Blueberry Hill Road. When police arrived, they were told by witnesses that they had heard two explosions in the street, including one near the Green Street pool. Police saw a 20-ounce plastic bottle that had “ruptured on one side and was partially melted.” Police also saw two pieces of “rolled up tin foil” a short distance away, as well as the label of the bottle.
