Woburn Police Cruiser Damaged by Driver After High-Speed Chase
Woburn Police called off the pursuit, but were still able to capture the man Friday afternoon.
Just days after a Woburn resident led Woburn and State Police on a pursuit on the highway, another resident led officers on a chase through city streets Friday afternoon. Jon C. Adams, 30, of 29 Orange St. Apt. #5, was arrested and charged with a marked lanes violation, failure to stop for police, speeding, stop sign violation, operating a motor vehicle after suspension, failure to yield to pedestrians and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, after the Friday chase. At 4:10 p.m. that afternoon, Sgt. Ray Mooney reported seeing a red Honda Civic commit a marked lanes violation at the Montvale Avenue and Washington Street intersection. I t was crazy!! The guy blew right past my house on Blueberry Hill. The police did a good job keeping it as contained in the area as possible "boxing him in" Thank God no one was hurt. GOOD JOB OFFICERS!!!   more ›
