Crazy like a fox?
Walter Smith captured this fox with his camera on Monday afternoon at Horn Pond. The fox was already badly injured, as you can see from the photo, when he appeared in the Horn Pond parking area. Many people went to the safety of their cars, said Smith. "The animal's behavior was very unusual," he added. "It ate a bit of grass, scavenged from a paper bag someone had tossed in the parking lot, and then... the fox wandered off across Pond Street towards the southeast." Thanks to Walter for sharing this incredible photo! Do you have a picture you'd like to share with us for Photo of the Day? Remember, all POTD come from readers, so without you, we have no photos! I'm with Maria on this one. I'm about as stron a swimmer as you'll ever find (and fairly buoyant to boot), but I always wear a life vest on the water. Automatic inflatables are the easiest to deal with. That poor man.   more ›
