Missing Woman Found Unharmed

A state police helicopter, along with K9s and troopers had assisted in the search Saturday morning for a missing woman

A woman who went missing Friday night has been found, and she is unharmed, according to WBZ.  Woburn and state police Saturday morning searched for the missing woman near the Showcase Cinemas. Woburn police Saturday morning confirmed officers on foot were searching the area, and Massachusetts State Police troopers assisted in the search with a helicopter, K9s and officers, according to Trooper Thomas Murphy of the state police. WBZ reported the woman went missing from the movie complex Friday night and her car was found in the cinema parking lot.

Snow Expected At Week's End, Safety Tips for Driving in the Snow

Woburn could see more than 18 inches by Saturday afternoon. Storm to start before Friday commute.

The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Watch for Woburn and surrounding areas from Friday night through Saturday morning. According to the watch, "The worst of the storm will be Friday night into Saturday morning," with snowfall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour possible. "Travel may become nearly impossible with blowing and drifting snow." Several news outlets can agree that Winter Storm Nemo will bring a minimum accumulation of 18 inches to the area, but the maximum accumulation numbers vary. Mass. State Troopers in New Jersey to Help Keep Peace in Wake of Hurricane Sandy Devastation

Preventing people from looting their neighbors' homes is part of the troopers' work in New Jersey.

  New Jersey called; Massachusetts answered. The state of New Jersey asked for help with devastation in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, requesting that nearby states send law enforcement officers to help keep peace and order in the hardest-hit areas of New Jersey. On Saturday, a detachment of 25 troopers from the Massachusetts State Police was selected and sent, reporting to Fort Dix to be sworn in as police officers.  The Massachusetts State Police officers are working with Louisiana State Police and New Jersey State Police in areas including Brick, Ocean Park, Seaside Heights and Palisades Park.
