'The Hobbit’: Trailer, Show Times, Ticket Information

Before the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, there was another Unexpected Journey. Find Woburn showtimes and ticket information for "The Hobbit", which opens on Friday.

Before Frodo and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, there was another epic tale from J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle Earth. "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey", the first in the three-part series, opens Dec. 14 and it's not too soon to figure out where you'll watch. According to IMDB.com, the movie traces the story of "a curious Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, (who) journeys to the Lonely Mountain with a vigorous group of Dwarves to reclaim a treasure stolen from them by the dragon Smaug." Harry Potter Finale Opens In Woburn

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premiered at midnight on July 15 at Showcase Cinemas. Patch was on hand to take in the action.

Hundreds of muggles sporting scarves, ties, capes, carrying wands and adorned with that icon “z” on their foreheads crammed into Showcase Cinemas early this morning for the midnight showings of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, the eighth and final installment of the epic movie series. Emotions ran high as evidenced by Holy Cross student, Meghan Lake, who said, "I grew up with Harry Potter, I'm probably going to cry.” Josh Gratton, a Middlesex Community College student was equally sentimental when he said, “The films came out when I was eleven, the same age as all the actors. I have been following the series that long. Now that I'm 21, I'm here to see it through until the end, the final battle.” There were 13 total cinemas …
