Why is the Showcase Cinemas Closed in Woburn?

  The Showcase Cinemas on the Middlesex Canal Parkway has been in darkness for a few days. But why? We received the following question: Hey, what's up with the movie theater? Nothing on the marquee, no showtimes on the internet? Temporary or permanent? We are pleased to report that the closure is temporary. According to a statement from the Showcase Cinemas: "Due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy, Showcase Cinemas Woburn is temporarily closed.  We are working with local utilities companies and maintenance crews to make sure that the theatre is fully operational, as well as safe for our patrons and staff, as soon as possible.  Please check here for updates."   Do you have a question for You Ask, Patch Answers?
