Woburn Bell Will Toll for Newtown Victims

Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy asks nation to observe moment of silence today to memorialize the Newtown school shooting victims.

  It has been one week since the lives of 26 children and adults were taken in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, CT. As people all over the world grapple with the tragic events of Dec. 14, America's churches hope to provide some solace this morning. Woburn's North Congregational Church on Main Street will ring its bell 26 times at 9:30 a.m. in honor of the victims. Along with the church located in the center of the city, churches all across the country will chime in. Rev. Marian Williams said the parish will "pray for [the victims'] families, friends, and the entire Newtown community."
