Robbers Leave Trail of Evidence For Police

Main Street convenience store robbed on Saturday night.

  Police are investigating the Saturday night robbery of a Main Street convenience store in which the suspects left a trail of evidence. At 8:56 p.m., Woburn Police responded to the Six Star Market on Main Street for a burglar alarm. According to police, when officers arrived, they found the front door of the building had been shattered and opened. The store’s owner told police he had closed the building at 8:30 p.m. Police found a large rock had been used to break the glass door, and two plastic dispensers of scratch tickets had been taken. Using video surveillance footage, police found that two male suspects had looked inside the store, then a few minutes later, broke the door and stole the tickets.
