Options abound for coffee in the city.
While construction workers prepare the building outside, interviews for new employees is going on inside at a new Dunkin' Donuts in Woburn. The new coffee and donut franchise is located at 301 Mishawum Road, across from the Woburn Mall and attached to the D'Angelo's sandwich shop. When the eatery opens, it will become the city's 12th Dunkin' Donuts. It will bring yet another option to Woburn coffee fans, as the city also has several other places to pick up some java:

Not cooking for the holiday? That's OK, these restaurants are!
While many choose to have a large Thanksgiving meal at home with family, more and more people are opting to dine out for the holiday repast. Several Woburn restaurants will be open next Thursday, including: Note: The 99 Restaurants, both on the West Side and near the Woburn Mall; Polcari's and Applebees are closed on Thanksgiving Day. When Spuds closed in February of 2011, it left a restaurant spot vacant off of Montvale Avenue. And it's still vacant... Despite promises of having a new eatery opened by Thanksgiving. Now the city's License Commission has given prospective tenant Waxy O'Connor's an ultimatum—open by January or you lose your liquor license. The Irish pub first made moves to come into the city in the closed Spuds building in March of this year. But the pub's progress is moving along slowly. "Building Commissioner Thomas Quinn has been on top of this project from the get go," said Paul Medeiros of the License Commission. Blue laws prohibit retailers from opening before midnight on Black Friday.
Black Friday is starting earlier than ever, as some national retailers have announced they will open the night of Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 22. However, here in Massachusetts, state blue laws prohibit stores from opening until midnight, according to an article in the Boston Globe. Current blue laws prohibit retailers in the state from opening on Thanksgiving, thus preventing them from getting an early start on Black Friday sales, according to the Globe article. Some exceptions are restaurants, health care facilities and gas stations.
