Teen Hospitalized After Stabbing Sunday Night

A 15-year-old Woburn teen was hospitalized with serious injuries suffered in a stabbing late Sunday night. According to police, the teen was stabbed several times on his torso. One puncture wound also collapsed the teen’s lung, said police. He was transported to Mass General Hospital by ambulance. Shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday night, Woburn Police were called to the area of Campbell Street for a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, the victim told police he was stabbed by a man “he had never met before” and the man “started a fight with him for no reason.” The suspect had fled the scene before police arrived, but officers found him hiding underneath a large handicap ramp on Ellis Court.
