  The Mystery of the Vanishing Used Cooking Oil A cooking oil thief struck, not once, but twice, in Watertown. Someone stole the used liquid from 55-gallon drums from two restaurants - Green Peapod and Mt. Auburn Grill -  before a collection company could take it to be recycled.
