Wind Advisory in Effect Today

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the area from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Looks like it's going to a bit blustery today with winds strong enough to down tree limbs and cause isolated power outages.  The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a wind advisory for all of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and southern New Hampshire. The advisory is in effect starting at 11 a.m. and ending at 7 p.m.  NWS states that there is a "high probability" of west winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 miles per hour. There is also a "low possibility" that a few gusts may get up to 60 miles per hour. Gusts that fast may cause some damage.
