Merry Christmas, Woburn! We are pleased to celebrate our second Christmas with the city of Woburn this year. We've been building up to today's holiday with several features that you can find in our WuPatch Holiday Guide 2011. Supermarkets and some restaurants will remain open, but government offices and most retail stores will be closed Dec. 25-26.
It's a three-day weekend for most of us because of Christmas Day on Sunday, Dec. 25, and the bonus observation day of Monday, Dec. 26. However, this also means lots of other folks get a few days off too, meaning various stores and government offices will be closed. Here's a quick rundown of the types of places that are open. If you're uncertain, call ahead to save yourself a trip. Attention business owners: Feel free to leave a note in the comments with your business' specific open/closed schedule.
