Paul Connolly Trojan Woburn B Team defeated Malden as Woburn’s Kyle Chorlton starts the kick off to Malden to the 25yard line. With the help of Woburn’s Defensive line, Kyle Chute, Matthew Pollard, Jacob Walthall, Luther Thiogene, Nick Romeo, Ryan Daniell, Clifford Louis, Nelson Claude and Kyle Chorlton, Woburn stops Malden cold for a series of downs. Colin Butcher got a 5yard return into Malden territory on the 25yard line. Great job by Kyle Chorlton on a 15 yard run and leading Nelson Claude to a 10 yards on a 2nd play from scrimmage for the 1st TD. The extra point attempt was blocked by Malden. There was a lot of anticipation and excitement in the air on this beautiful and sunny day in September. The captains of the day leading their team today was Bobby Lafferty and Symon Sathler . Woburn Memorial High School's speedy running back scored five times on Friday, including a trio of touchdowns within about three minutes in the fourth quarter after the Wildcats snagged a 21-20 edge, and as a result the Tanners went on to a 39-29 road victory. The hosts took a 7-0 lead late in the opening quarter, but Nico Cornelio got Woburn on the board with a bruising four-yard run. After a Wilmington touchdown with less than two minutes left before the half, it appeared the Tanners would trail by a score heading into the intermission.
