Letter to the Editor: Lions Clubs Thank City

Horn Pond Day was a success.

I want to thank everyone who helped out with our Lions Horn Pond Day planning and production of our community event on June 9th. Our joint Lions cause raised money for Mass Lions Eye Research. We had something for everyone, young and old, to view or participate in that day. A big thank you to the Sturgis Street residents for being a “good sport” as their peace was disturbed in the early hours as crews set up for the day. Without the generous donations from our sponsors, Lions Horn Pond Day could not have happened.
