Mayor Galvin: Emergency Parking Ban Extended

The City of Woburn will stay under the parking ban in order to give DPW crews a chance to finish clearing the roads.

Don't park on the side of Woburn streets yet. Mayor Scott Galvin put out a statement last night updating the timing of the end of the emergency parking ban. According to Galvin the ban will now be in effect until 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 11. "The City of Woburn has extended its emergency parking ban (no parking on either side of the street) until 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, in order to finish the work of clearing snow," Galvin stated. "Municipal public lots and school lots are available as an alternative until the ban is lifted." How are the roads in your neighborhood? Let us know in the comments section below.
