Many people came out to the grand opening of Bobby's Burger Palace in the Burlington Mall this Sunday.
Eager diners from around the area lined up in the cold weather outside of the Burlington Mall, in neighboring Burlington, this past Sunday for a chance to try a burger from one of the Food Network's most recognizable stars. Bobby's Burger Palace held its grand opening on Sunday, Jan. 27. The restaurant is located at the Burlington Mall and has it's own entrance. Flay himself was in attendance to welcome customers to the new restaurant. This is the first Bobby's Burger Palace in Massachusetts and the 13th one opened to date. Flay is best known for his televisions shows and the shows he participates in on the Food Network, including Throwdown with Bobby Flay, Bobby Flay's Barbecue Addiction and Iron Chef America. Reality TV star meets Woburn girls.
It's not often that you get to cross paths with a television star. But some lucky Woburn girls got to do just that at the Burlington Mall on April 28. The girls were taking part in a birthday scavenger hunt, and "hunted" down reality TV star Chris Lambton, who hosts "Going Yard" on HGTV. WPD sent to the mall to assist law enforcement officers with search. Suspect has been found after turning self in to police.
Tuesday, 11:49 a.m.: The Massachusetts State Police have confirmed that a man who turned himself into Burlington Police is the suspect in the Nordstrom incident. According to police, a man matching the description given by Nordstrom employees called Burlington Police and said he was carrying an umbrella while he was in the store earlier. Burlington Police reportedly checked the surveillance tapes and found that the man and his umbrella matched the description. There was no threat of danger, said the Mass State Police in a statement. Tuesday, 11:14 a.m.: The Woburn Police Department is on scene at the Burlington Mall this morning, assisting law enforcement agencies with the search for a reported gunman at the Nordstrom department store…

The longstanding holiday tradition of "kettle ringing" carries on.
Much of the holidays become about giving gifts, eating feasts and generally enjoying all you have. But people like Woburn resident Robin Longendyke and Major Jim LaBossiere of the Salvation Army remind us that the most important part of the holidays is to be grateful for our blessings and more importantly, to give what we can for those that are not so fortunate.
