Fish McBites: Just in Time for Lent

McDonald's reportedly is rolling out its first new Happy Meal in years to coincide with Lent.

  Nugget-sized Filet-o-Fish. That's the new idea McDonald's is rolling out this week just in time for Lent.  The fast food giant says the Fish McBites Happy Meal comes with seven nuggets of fried fish, French fries, apple slices and a drink. According to USA Today, the rollout the the Fish McBites Happy Meal is the first of several new limited-time meal offerings. Lent is marked by many Christians in the 40-day runup to Easter. This year, Lent starts next Wednesday, Feb. 13 and lasts until the end of March. Often considered a time to practice sacrifice, many Catholics for years gave up eating meat on Fridays.
