The Federal government under this administration failed to call incidents when people die or were injured by terrorist, terrorist acts , as I mentioned above. In the Boston incident, the Federal government did not share the information that terrorist were living in or around the cities of Cambridge and Boston with the police of either city. People died and got injured because the Federal government failed them. It’s not political. It’s shameful.

Before the last presidential election, president Obama was week on terrors enforcement. The president would not call the shooting at Fort Hood a terrorist act instead he called it work place violence. He blamed the terrorist attack in Libya on a video. This attacked kill the Ambassador and a Winchester resident. With this knowledge, the unions, such as the fireman union, continued to support a president whose policy put our citizens in danger. Now, member of these same unions are supporting Patriot’s Day Bombing Victims of presidents failures. Is this support for the Bombing Victims a show of guilt?

Nick Low, People came here to be free of government control of their religion, now you want to get rid of religion. We are the government. If elected officials have been crapping all over the Middle East for decades, such as giving Saddam chemical weapons as a hedge against Iran and having installed the Shah in Iran replacing a democratically elected leader and then ignored the Shah while his security agents tortured religious adherents, so, we created Islamic extremism. With your view, It is time to change elected officials within our government who can change the government, not get rid of religion.

There are numerous lessons to take away from the Marathon Massacre, but one of these is that it’s time to rethink our immigration policy, especially when it comes to refugees.

The Tsarnaevs came to the United States as refugees. And like so many other Muslim refugees, they brought terror to our shores.

There are basic solutions to Islamic terrorism. One of the most basic such solutions is to stop bringing in population groups linked to terror.

Since Senator Donnelly took office the price of a gallon of gasoline has doubled. Has the price of a ride on the MBTA doubled? The last gas tax took a portion of the tax and it was used for other than transportation needs. By taken the gas tax away from transportation needs, is that the reason the MBTA could not be keep up to federal Standards? It is time to for walking and bicycle patch and other non-transportation project to be charged an excise tax on the equipment that is used by the people who participate in these activities, such as the Pitman Act back in the 1930’s. The Democrats use to stand for the little guy, With Senator Donnelly vote to increase taxes on gasoline, tied to the consume index, and tobacco, he has hit the working class, older people, and other low-income people to pay these taxes. Senator Donnelly sold them out for special interest unions.

Plenty O'Toole-- the police details at the Boston Event and along the marathon route are there first to protect the runners, not the public. The public protection is secondary.

Steven C—MA is not that far from a police state, there are about 40 professionals who have to report incidents to government officials. When professionals, such as nurses, in doctor’s examining rooms have to ask, Do You feel Safe at Home that is a police question not a medical question. Furthermore, why do people who have no criminal record have to purchase licenses in order to participate in the second amendment of the U.S. Constitution? Does the government require licenses to participate in any other amendment of the US Constitution? Think again about MA is not a police state.

Read the Book all of you:

According to Retired Colonel Dave Grossman and Gloria DeGaetano, who wrote the book “Stop Teaching our Kids to Kill,” there have been over (5,000) five thousands studies showing a causal relationship that TV and media cause violence. This book was written in 1999 and the studies have been conducted since the early 1950’s— http://www.killology.com/new_media_vio.htm

    Somerville Girl, you are wrong.

Just like today’s poor, I grew up in poverty. I remember putting cardboard inside of my shoes until I could receive a hand-me-down pair or purchase another pair. Our poverty didn't lead to loss of hope, drug addiction and horrible crimes. Up until 12 years ago, a poor youth could go out capture a raccoon, possum, beaver or other wildlife animal to help feed the family; but low information voters stop the poor from using the inexpensive equipment that help the poor feed their family.

As for crime, just like former Senator Edward Kennedy (with all his money) who received probation for killing a young woman, he had the money to purchase good legal advice; and, at the time, the news media gave him a pass and convinced the low information voter, it was better to let him continue in the Senate. He became the victim and the young woman became a number in a police report.
