I don't think that I've ever cursed on a phone call with a customer service rep or a telemarketer. My new MO is to simply pick up the phone and immediately hang up. I recommend it. Re: Massachusetts in cursing, I do think that we are more foul-mouthed than residents of other states, but hey, I spend the most time here so maybe I haven't found a wide enough sample. :-)

I think the new Ford Fusion is pretty sharp - I actually like the whole Ford lineup, for the most part. I had been infatuated a bit with the Chrysler 300 for a bit, but am now over that crush.

Hi, Stephanie: on my end I can see it twice: one is above the photos, the other is below. I'm using Chrome as a browser, but I just checked Safari and Firefox and I can see it there, too.

My first car was a 91 Subaru Loyale: I bought it from my parents (for a dollar, I believe) when I saved them a bunch of money by transferring from a private to a state college. I was heading up to New Hampshire on Easter weekend after the car became mine. I went a little heavy on the gas, and was pulled over on 495. The trooper collected my license and registration, and took a look at the stuffed bunny I had strapped in the passenger seat (just got it in my Easter basket). He laughed, and I didn't get a ticket.
I suppose that's not so much a "car" memory as a memory that happened to be connected to a car.

Jennifer, thanks for keeping us posted and I'm glad you're OK! I'm sorry you weren't able to finish. :-(

Hi, Jane: thanks for your comment. This log mirrors entries in the Northborough police log; in this case, a description of the alleged suspects was provided to help authorities in their search. While it would provide no useful purpose to list the race of a person who was already in custody, for example, including such a description when someone is at-large is part of police work. It helps officers narrow down for whom they are searching.
