ReplyI am so glad to hear that the kids enjoyed the storytime and their photos! We really did have a wonderful time taking care of their stuffed animal friends. We know how hard it was to let them go for the evening! We're hoping we can do it again soon! :)

Thank you, Virginia! hee hee, Saul was not happy to see me! But when I checked on him later, he had happily gone back to his little burrow. So I think we can coexist. ;)

ReplyI am a regular at both Dunkin' Donuts and Heavn'ly Donuts in town, as well as Starbucks in Reading. Yes, I drink a lot of coffee. I also drink coffee at home. :) I would love to see a Starbucks come into town, especially into the Stop & Shop plaza, which has had so many empty store fronts for so long. I was afraid Sunrise would move and that building would just sit vacant.

I'm sure 50 Shades was rather popular at libraries this year, but, as you can tell from reading the post, this list was for Massachusetts authors or books with Massachusetts themes. EL James is from the UK and 50 Shades is set in Washington state.

Don't forget you can also pick up some great book deals at the Used Book Sale at the Flint Memorial Library Friday night and all day Saturday. And there's the North Reading Community Concert at Town Hall! :)
