Ed Melaugh is an 8th degree Black Belt in Small Circle Jujitsu. Began his training in JuJitsu in 1972 under Dave Castoldi, started his training with Prof. Wally Jay in 1978 in Small Circle JuJitsu. Prof. Jay appointed Sensei Melaugh as an inheritor to the SCJ system.  Senesi Melaugh Started the NE. small Circle JuJtisu Academy in May 1990. 1993 he moved to his current location in Woburn, 2 Merrill st..

Sensei Melaugh has won many State, and National Jujitsu titles.  In 1996 he won his World Championship in self defense.  Sensei Melaugh teaches seminars and clinics throughout the United States, Europe, and Bermuda.  He was the first American to ever teach and demonstate in the Czech Republic.

Sensei Melaugh owns and operates his NE Small Circle JuJitsu Academy, Fitness Kickboxing and Warrior Sports performance programs at his Woburn location for the past 20 years. 

Ed also is the strength, speed, and conditioning coach for both the lacrosse and hockey teams. He has been an asst, coach with the Billerica HS Lacrosse team.
