I, too, was there with a friend on Friday and was very pleased. You never really know what you’re going to get when you order a salad at a new place, and mine was excellent in terms of size and freshness/quality of vegetables. And agreed, Karen, good service, nice atmosphere and great company! ;)

Thanks, Isabella. At the beginning of his talk Bill identified himself as “not much of a public speaker,” but I disagreed. He was inspiring, yet unsentimentally so--he didn’t pull any punches in terms of where he believes things are headed. I recommend trying to see him next time he is in the area.

I agree, after last year I am shocked to find myself wishing for snow. But just a few inches--not to the top of our lamppost, as it was for weeks last winter.
