I wanted to let everyone know that the First Parish Congregational Church In Wakefield has a Passion Play at the church on Thursday April 5 at 8 P.M.and Friday April 6 at 8 PM. Anyone from Stoneham wishing to attend is welcome. Admission is free.
The church is on Church St. and it is the large grey stone church on the lake. It's a wonderful Passion Play, You will not be disappointed.

Attention Stoneham and nearby residents.I received a call today from an obvious scammer who said he was calling for donations for "Stoneham Veterans".When I asked who specifically he was looking for he got flustered and hung up.A quick check online found this number (781-656-0232) to be a well-known Massachusetts scam operation out of the south shore.

On May 14, 2011, the Wakefield Garden Club (WGC) is having their annual Floral Way at the Hartshorne House on Church St. The historic home will be opened for viewing as well as tasting and/or buying sweets. The member perennials as well as annuals from a local nursery will be for sale. You might find a treasure in their green elephant table. WGC's cookbook is on sale that day for a one time sale price of $5 as well as handy garden gloves. The times are from 9-2:30.
