To the best of my knowledge, there has only been one RFP for town counsel. I believe the town can hire town counsel for multiple terms as long as there has been an RFP at least once. Although never doing it again for 30 years ( could be wrong on this length) or so seems extreme and not in the best interests of the townspeople or prudent governance. Everyone needs a check and balance from time to time.

I am voting yes for this article. The field was never installed correctly and it is a hazard. Other youth sports organizations have been successful in raising and donating funds for enhancements to fields, ice and pool space that girl's softball can't compete or rise to. For me, it is a threat to Title 9, and I will support this even though I don't have any children in the youth or high school program. If we are going to have a team, they should have, at the very least, a "decent field" and currently, they do not have even that.
