Woburn's E1 Mite Mites Wrap Up 2013 Campaign
One local Pop Warner team closed out the year with a recent game versus Wilmington.
The Woburn High School Tanners aren't the only ones who played football into the fall months.
Wrapping up their season recently were the Woburn Trojans E1 Mite Mite team, which closed out a 4-4 campaign against Wilmington with a 27-19 setback, according to a blog post on the game.
Though the locals were unable to come away with the victory, they got strong performances by players like "X" Etienne, who ran for a touchdown and 112 yards in the second half.
"The parents would like to thank the coaches and kids for a great season," Jennifer Gillardon-Tarini wrote in her blog post. "We would also like to give a big Woburn Trojan cheer to our sponsor Dole & Bailey. Have a great school year and see you next year on the football fields."
